Smaller, lighter and nimbler than a conventional cargo bike, the GRAVIT CITY E offers the best of both worlds as a multipurpose load carrier and a sporty bike for everyday use. Moreover, its low top tube and narrow design make it accessible for riders of all sizes. Anyone from approx. 1.50 meters (4'11") in height can handle the bike with ease. The cherry on top is a reliable Shimano motor that provides for extra zip and confidence on the road.
The GRAVIT CITY E is equipped with a versatile "Cargo Board" that can transport up to 40 of the bike's 200 kilograms of load capacity. This front carrier consists of an aluminium frame with highly robust yet light-weight webbing. The luggage is held securely in place with a cargo net that is fastened to 10 heavy-duty mounts.
The Cargo Board can be removed with a simple click when not in use and is just as easy to remount when needed again. As an alternative to the Cargo Board, the GRAVIT Canvas Box is available as an accessory. This covered carrier made from waterproof fabric has a volume of 120 litres and can hold up to 40 kilograms (88 lb.) worth of work supplies, groceries and the like. It can even carry young passengers, thanks to a padded Child Seat that can be securely attached inside the box. This accessory is equipped with a safety harness and can hold children up to 1.20 m (3'11") in height.
Those who want to take full advantage of the bike's 200-kilogram (440lb.) load capacity can mount a HASE BIKES Lowrider under the Cargo Board and add one large and one small pannier on each side. The GRAVIT CITY E itself is also a piece of cake to transport: When the Cargo Board is removed, the handlebars folded and the telescoping frame reduced to its shortest setting, the bike is a mere 178 centimeters (70") in length and just as narrow as a normal city bike. Thanks to this compactness, the bike can be easily transported on any standard rear- mounted car rack and stored in small spaces, like cellars, bike rooms and hallways.
