Exopulse Mollii Suit and C-Brace: solutions for neurological mobility support

Prof. Samar Ayache from the University of Paris-Est presented new data on the Exopulse Mollii Suit in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). In a randomized, double-blind crossover study, a significant improvement was shown after just 60 minutes of use in the areas of 

• Balance (p<0.001) 

• Spasticity (p<0.001) 

• Fatigue (p=0.007) 

Four weeks of therapy led to sustained progress in mobility and quality of life. 

Alberto Nicolini, Product Specialist at OttoBock Italia, shared his experience using the Exopulse Mollii Suit in daily clinical practice. Registered nurse Ricky, MS patient and father, reports: "I move more freely, my balance has become more stable and I even find it a lot easier to climb stairs. The suit helps me stay active, enjoy time with my kids and be more self-determined in my daily life."

Prof. Arun Jayaraman from the Max Näder Center for Rehabilitation Technologies presented data on early-stage application of the C-Brace, a microprocessor-controlled leg orthosis. The device supports walking by promoting biomechanically natural gait patterns. 

"It is the perfect time where technology and traditional care models work together for better outcome for the patients," he concluded.
