Assistive tech company munevo and wheelchair specialist Permobil are partnering to combine smartglass-based wheelchair control with tailored power chair systems. Their shared goal: improving mobility, independence and participation in everyday life for people living with ALS, MS, high spinal cord injuries, and similar conditions.

The German company munevo, known for its head-motion-based smartglass control system munevo DRIVE, has entered an exclusive partnership with Permobil, a global leader in high-quality, customized power wheelchairs. The collaboration aims to improve everyday mobility.

Through this partnership, the two companies offer a combination of intuitive, hands-free wheelchair control and clinically supported, user-adapted mobility systems.
